Qualified petrographic analyses are offered:

• seam coal
• steam coal
• coking coal
• blends
• barbecue charcoal and barbecue charcoal briquettes

Basis of the standardised microscopic analyses are polished particulate blocks from samples of coal or coal blends.
A polished particulate block of crushed coal is investigated in white light and blue light (fluorescence) using a polarizing reflected light microscope.

My company regulary participates in round robin tests and international accreditation programs for quality control.
